Mumbai Indians’ player Nat Sciver‑Brunt expressed relief at her return to form, pleased with the team’s solid 195/4 against Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League. The competitive total was achieved with Sciver‑Brunt and captain Harmanpreet Kaur scoring 70 and 74 not out, respectively. She emphasized the importance of picking up key wickets against a team with explosive batters.

Speaking during the mid-innings break, Sciver‑Brunt highlighted her satisfaction with the team’s performance and her personal contribution. She acknowledged the need to adapt and find new strategies, especially after a recent loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Reflecting on the match conditions, Nat Sciver‑Brunt noted the change in pitch pace compared to the previous game. She mentioned the challenges faced in timing slower balls but credited herself and Harmanpreet Kaur for adjusting their approach effectively. Additionally, she expressed frustration over her bowling execution in the previous match and hinted at exploring new plans for improvement.
