A national convention named ‘Bharati – Nari se Narayani’ is set to take place in New Delhi on March 7-8. Organized by Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Bharatiya Vidvat Parishat, and Sharanya at Vigyan Bhawan, the event aims to honor and empower women in their journey from ‘Nari’ to ‘Narayani’. The focus is on transforming women into strategic and empowered individuals, with a call to support and stand by them collectively.
The organizers highlighted the significance of awakening and empowering contemporary women. Anju Ahuja, President of Sharanya, stressed the need to raise awareness and prevent injustices against women for future generations. The convention will be inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and will feature discussions led by women leaders from various fields.
The event will not follow a traditional paper presentation format but will engage in intensive discussions on women’s future and addressing region-specific challenges. Thematic areas like Vidya (Knowledge), Shakti (self-reliance), Mukti, Siddhi, Prakriti, Sanskriti, and Kriti will be explored. The convention aims to create a network of women intellectuals and leaders to drive social transformation based on Indian values.
