Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Maharashtra unit President and MP Sunil Tatkare announced the resolution of all misunderstandings within the party. He revealed plans for a joint statewide tour to enhance the party’s organizational structure and facilitate extensive expansion. Tatkare addressed the media during a press conference in Delhi, emphasizing unity and progress within the party.

Regarding the party’s National Executive, Tatkare mentioned the forthcoming submission of a revised letter required by the Election Commission of India (ECI). He highlighted positive discussions among top leaders during an internal party meeting on this matter. The move aims to address recent turmoil within the NCP following exclusions from the national executive and clerical errors in previous submissions.

Tatkare dismissed rumors of a potential merger, citing clarifications from key faction leaders like State President Shashikant Shinde and MP Supriya Sule. He emphasized the party’s adherence to progressive ideologies and democratic decision-making processes. Tatkare reaffirmed the NCP’s commitment to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and collaboration with the BJP for development-oriented initiatives at both Central and State levels.
