Neeraj Kumar Sinha, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the Bankipur Assembly by-election, visited former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to seek his blessings. State BJP president Sanjay Sarawagi accompanied him. Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh joined the meeting, where NDA leaders discussed the upcoming by-election.
Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wished the BJP candidate success and advised him to remain active among the public. He hoped that the NDA-backed candidate would earn the public’s trust and boost Bankipur’s development. Neeraj Kumar Sinha expressed gratitude for the senior leaders’ guidance and blessings, emphasizing his commitment to Bankipur’s progress.
State BJP chief Sanjay Sarawagi assured full unity and support from the NDA alliance for Neeraj Kumar. He believed that the public would trust the NDA candidate based on the development initiatives in Bihar. Initially, Abhishek Kumar was named as the BJP candidate but withdrew due to personal reasons. NDA candidate Neeraj Sinha is expected to file his nomination on July 13.
