The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized Rahul Gandhi, the Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, for his remarks on the Modi government’s future. Gandhi had reportedly predicted the government’s fall within a year due to economic discontent during a Congress meeting.

Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi advised Gandhi to focus on his own electoral success rather than the BJP’s status. He mentioned that the Congress party has significantly declined and emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s global popularity.

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale dismissed Gandhi’s predictions, citing the Congress’s performance in the 2019 elections. He highlighted the NDA’s victory under PM Modi’s leadership and expressed confidence in the alliance’s future success.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also criticized Gandhi’s statements, calling them wishful thinking and a sign of frustration. They praised PM Modi’s welfare initiatives and the public’s growing trust in his leadership.
