Actress Neelam Kothari shared an interesting family connection with director and choreographer Farah Khan during a visit to her Mumbai home. Farah disclosed that although they are cousins, their relation is not by blood but through Neelam’s mother’s sister being Farah’s aunt, married to Neelam’s uncle, Saroj. Farah reminisced about teaching Neelam dance moves in Hong Kong, where Neelam actually ended up teaching her instead.
Neelam recalled how Farah taught her Michael Jackson’s iconic steps, including the moonwalk, during their time together. Farah also mentioned choreographing a song for Neelam in the movie ‘Laat Saab’ with Jackie Shroff. Neelam and her husband Samir Soni have a unique love story, both having experienced previous marriages before finding each other.
Neelam’s earlier marriage was to industrialist Rishi Sethia, which ended in divorce due to irreconcilable differences. Samir, on the other hand, was previously married to model Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar. Despite past relationships, Neelam and Samir eventually found love with each other after facing challenges in their personal lives.
