Mindful eating is essential during the ongoing heatwave in various parts of the country. Neena Gupta, a veteran actress, has shared her recipe for a unique dish, Turai aur Paneer ki sabzi, on Instagram. To prepare this dish, start by heating Ghee in a pan, then add jeera and lal mirchi. Next, include grated tomatoes and ginger.
Once the tomatoes are partially cooked, add diced Turai and Paneer, along with salt. Neena Gupta, known for her role in ‘Panchayat,’ frequently shares such recipes with her followers on Instagram. Last year in October, she gave a Punjabi twist to a popular South Indian dish, vegetable uttapam, enhancing it with simple additions.
Neena demonstrated making crispy vegetable uttapam in her kitchen, adding a Punjabi touch with spices like mustard seeds, curry leaves, cinnamon, and red chili. She enjoyed the dish and thanked her friend for the recipe. In another post, she shared the recipe for her ‘Chutney for all seasons,’ starting with boiling tomatoes and green chilies.
She then blended the boiled tomatoes and green chilies, not too finely. Neena proceeded by sautéing chopped garlic and ginger in oil, followed by adding the tomato paste. Finally, she mixed in freshly chopped coriander leaves and salt to complete the chutney.
