The investigation into the mysterious death of a NEET aspirant from Bihar’s Jehanabad district has escalated as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) gathered DNA samples from six suspects. These individuals were seen behaving suspiciously near the student’s hostel in Patna on the day of the incident, as per CCTV footage and call records.
The DNA samples of the six suspects were collected at a hospital in Gardanibagh under strict supervision and have been sent for forensic analysis. The presence of male biological traces on the student’s undergarments has heightened suspicions of sexual assault, marking a crucial phase in the investigation.
While the prime suspect remains at large, the SIT is diligently working to reconstruct the events leading to the student’s demise. The DNA comparison is anticipated to play a pivotal role in identifying the perpetrators, with additional samples taken from the student’s family to aid in the process.
The forensic team’s initial findings suggest foul play in the student’s death, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation to bring the culprits to justice. The family’s claims of sexual assault and murder have spurred demands for swift action, underscoring the significance of DNA analysis in unraveling the truth.
Authorities are optimistic that the DNA matching process will unveil the truth behind the incident, although concerns linger over delays in the legal process and the main suspect’s evasion. The case has stirred public discourse in Bihar, urging authorities to conduct a transparent and expeditious inquiry to address mounting societal and political pressures.
