With the NEET-UG re-examination scheduled for June 21, students nationwide are intensifying their last-minute preparations. Despite diligent studying, some candidates feel less confident about their readiness compared to the previous May 3 exam. A student from Jammu and Kashmir initially dismissed the paper leak news as a prank but later realized its seriousness and began re-preparing for the exam.
Expressing apprehension about the upcoming re-exam, the student mentioned the anticipated difficulty level of the questions. Due to the stress, she could only focus on revising rather than learning new material. She stressed the importance of transparent exams to ensure the efforts of thousands of students do not go in vain.
Another student, Mariam, shared her exam preparation journey, highlighting her early start with coaching since class 11. While her performance in the May 3 exam was satisfactory, the news of the re-examination caused significant stress among students, affecting their mental well-being. Despite feeling unprepared amidst the pressure, Mariam commended the government’s initiative to airlift question papers using the Air Force for timely conduct of the exam.
In Dharwad, Karnataka, aspirant Brijesh S.H. reflected on his NEET journey, mentioning a previous attempt where he scored 610 marks, a significant improvement from his earlier score of 430. Acknowledging the challenges of pursuing a medical career, Brijesh emphasized the demanding nature of the preparation process. While admitting his current preparation might not match his previous attempt, he remains hopeful of clearing the exam.
