Singer-songwriter Neha Bhasin and music producer Sameer Uddin shared their choice of not having children during an episode of the YouTube show “Rashami Ke Dil Se Dil Tak.” They expressed that they believe legacy does not have to be biological, describing it as a conscious decision.
Neha and Sameer explained, “We never wanted to have our own kids. There is no specific reason. We feel that we want to end our attachments and illusions with ourselves. Legacy doesn’t have to be biological. This choice is personal for us, and we are at peace with it.”
Discussing the balance between work and relationships, Neha mentioned that people like her and Sameer, who prioritize creation over admiration, may not be suited for marriage. She emphasized that their first love is creation, making everything else secondary.
Neha also shared that she feels understood in her marriage, unlike in other aspects of her life. She appreciated the acceptance and understanding in her relationship, highlighting how they support each other’s quirks and habits, such as Sameer’s late-night work schedule.
