Nehru World School in Delhi secured the Under-14 boys title, while Sacred Heart Sr. Secondary School in Ludhiana clinched the U-14 girls crown at the 2025-26 ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Tournament held in New Delhi. Maharana Pratap International School in Prayagraj claimed the 1st runner-up position, with ITM Global School in Indore finishing as the 2nd runner-up in the U-14 boys’ category.
In the girls’ section, Providence Girls Higher Secondary School from Kochi emerged as the 1st runner-up, and Ma Sharda Public School from Prayagraj secured the 2nd runner-up spot. The tournament marked the end of regional competitions in ten cities across India, with over 8000 children from 900+ schools participating in this year’s program. The event was organized in collaboration with the Basketball Federation of India and sponsored by Skechers, providing quality gear for the participants.
The Bengaluru All-Star Team clinched the girls’ title in the ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 All-Star Championship, while the boys’ crown went to the Delhi All-Star Team. The ‘ACG Most Improved Team’ recognition was awarded to The Shishukunj International School in Indore (U-14 Girls) and SK School in Udaipur (U-14 Boys) for their remarkable progress during the tournament.
Jiya Sodhi from Sacred Heart Sr. Sec. School in Ludhiana (U-14 Girls) and Jatin Sharma from Nehru World School in Delhi (U-14 Boys) received the ‘Most Valuable Player’ award for their exceptional performances. Notable individual achievements included Dhruvi Pisal from the Mumbai All-Star team (U-14 Girls) as the top scorer with 71 points and P. Antara Rao from Ma Shardha Public School leading in 3-pointers with 21 shots. In the U-14 Boys’ category, Mohd. Sameer from Maharana Partap Inter College in Prayagraj excelled with 97 points and 28 three-pointers.
The National Finals, held from March 19-24, 2026, at the KD Jadhav Indoor Arena in New Delhi, featured both on-court competitions and off-court activities, including a trophy reveal and interactive engagement zones for all players. The event also included an ACG Jr. NBA Referee Clinic and Coaches Clinic to enhance the skills of officials and coaches, respectively. The ACG Jr. NBA program aims to instill basketball fundamentals and values among Indian youth, having impacted over 15 million youngsters and 15,000 physical education instructors in 35 cities since its inception in 2013.
