A significant moment unfolded in Bihar as Nishant Kumar entered active politics by taking oath as a minister at Gandhi Maidan. This move not only impacts the ruling alliance but also signifies a shift in the JD(U)’s leadership to the next generation. Following the ceremony, Nishant Kumar expressed his commitment to following his father, Nitish Kumar’s, principles in his political journey.

Nishant Kumar, after addressing the media at his party office in Patna, pledged to work under Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership for the state’s development. He emphasized his dedication to upholding his father’s guidance in his public life and decision-making. Grateful for the party’s trust in him, Nishant assured to fulfill his responsibilities sincerely and contribute meaningfully to governance.

On the development front, Nishant Kumar reiterated the government’s focus on progressing Bihar’s growth trajectory. He highlighted his priority to continue the developmental initiatives initiated during Nitish Kumar’s tenure. Emphasizing development with justice, he underlined the administration’s commitment to ensuring equitable benefits for all sections of society through welfare schemes.

In a touching moment before the oath-taking, Nishant Kumar sought his father’s blessings by touching his feet, symbolizing the transfer of a political legacy. The ceremony witnessed the presence of senior leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.
