After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) revealed a new organizational team for Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended congratulations to the newly-appointed office bearers. State chief Pankaj Chaudhary highlighted efforts to ensure fair representation from all communities and regions in the appointments. The list, disclosed by Chaudhary, includes individuals assigned to key roles, such as 19 state vice presidents, eight state general secretaries, and 19 state secretaries.
In a social media post, CM Adityanath conveyed his warm wishes to the new office-bearers of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. He expressed confidence in their ability to strengthen the organization under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, emphasizing the ethos of ‘Nation First’ and revitalizing the commitment to public service. Adityanath also extended his best wishes for their successful tenure.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary emphasized the party’s inclusive approach, stating that they represent all sections of society. He underscored the BJP’s efforts to include youth and women, ensure diverse community and regional representation, and provide equitable opportunities for workers across different areas. Chaudhary highlighted the party’s commitment to fostering unity and diversity.
The restructuring of the BJP’s state unit ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections signifies a strategic move to balance social groups and regions while introducing new faces with significant responsibilities. The appointments of state vice presidents include prominent figures like Suresh Rana, Satyapal Saini, Dharmendra Singh, Priyanka Rawat, and others. Similarly, individuals like Ram Pratap Singh Chauhan, Geeta Shakya, and Abhijat Mishra have been named as state general secretaries, with a list of state secretaries also announced.
