Post their recent landslide victory, Delhi’s new Mayor Pravesh Wahi and Deputy Mayor Monika Pant have committed to enhancing cleanliness in the national capital. Both elected from the BJP, they expressed gratitude towards the party leadership for their roles.
Deputy Mayor Monika Pant acknowledged the support received from various party members and emphasized the significance of cleanliness initiatives led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. She assured continued efforts in this direction and highlighted the importance of ensuring that Delhi residents have access to all essential municipal services.
Mayor Pravesh Wahi, echoing similar sentiments, pledged to adhere to the party’s principles and collaborate with the government to fulfill promises of a cleaner and greener city. He specifically mentioned the urgent need to address waste accumulation in Delhi.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva congratulated the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, underscoring the increased responsibilities that come with their positions. He contrasted the current scenario with past challenges faced by the Municipal Corporation during the tenure of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
