The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched an investigation into a bomb blast incident in Bhangar, West Bengal. The explosion, which resulted in a fatality, occurred during bomb assembly in South Bamunia village. The deceased, identified as Moshiur Qazi, was allegedly killed in the blasts.

Authorities suspect a conspiracy behind the incident as bomb-making activities were reportedly ongoing at the site. The NIA has registered an FIR and plans to present details in a Special NIA Court. The incident, reminiscent of a previous case in Bhupatinagar, involved the transportation of the victim’s remains to a different location after the explosion.

The police, after six days of investigation, determined that Moshiur Qazi died while assembling bombs. Qazi, reportedly associated with Trinamool Congress, was a booth president in Deganga. An ambulance driver named Sanjay Mandal has been arrested in connection with the case.
