Actress Nimrat Kaur celebrated the 10th anniversary of her film “Airlift” in Hindi cinema. She shared images from the movie’s shoot on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the experience. “Airlift,” a political thriller directed by Raja Krishna Menon, starred Akshay Kumar alongside Nimrat Kaur. The film depicts the evacuation of Indians from Kuwait during the Gulf War.
Nimrat Kaur began her career as a print model before transitioning to theater and then to the big screen. Her role in Anurag Kashyap’s “Peddlers” in 2012 marked the start of her acting journey. She gained widespread recognition for her performance in the critically acclaimed movie “The Lunchbox” in 2014, where she starred opposite the late Irrfan Khan.
In addition to her Bollywood success, Nimrat Kaur ventured into international projects. She portrayed the character of ISI agent Tasneem Qureishi in the popular American TV series “Homeland.” Her versatility led her to roles in series like “Wayward Pines” and the Indian drama “School of Lies.” Recently, she appeared in the third season of “The Family Man,” a series created by Raj & DK, where she acted alongside Manoj Bajpayee.
