Nita M. Ambani was honored with the KISS Humanitarian Award 2025 at a ceremony in Bhubaneswar. The award recognized her social development contributions through the Reliance Foundation. Nobel Laureate Mohan Munasinghe and Achyuta Samanta, founder of KISS, KIIT, and KIMS, presented her with the honor.
Nearly 40,000 tribal students attended the ceremony and greeted Nita Ambani with traditional performances. In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to the Reliance Foundation team. She commended Achyuta Samanta for establishing world-class institutions like KIIT and KISS, considering them a source of national pride.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Nita Ambani praised Odisha’s rich culture and the deep connection its people have with nature. She encouraged students to dream big, work hard, and uphold honesty and righteousness in their pursuits. Nita Ambani highlighted the equal potential of both boys and girls to succeed and expressed confidence in India’s bright future based on the students at KISS.
The KISS Humanitarian Award, initiated in 2008, is a prestigious recognition by the institute for exceptional humanitarian efforts worldwide. Recipients are acknowledged with a citation and a gold-plated trophy symbolizing kindness, hope, and the spirit of altruism.
