Nishant Kumar, the son of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, officially became a member of the Janata Dal (United) at the party headquarters in Patna. The event, which marked the start of his political journey, was graced by senior party leaders including Sanjay Kumar Jha, Lalan Singh, Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, and Umesh Singh Kushwaha.
During the ceremony, Nishant Kumar was presented with a party memento and cap by Sanjay Kumar Jha, and Lalan Singh honored him by tying the party turban. Nishant Kumar expressed his commitment to working under his father’s guidance, emphasizing his dedication to continuing Nitish Kumar’s developmental efforts in Bihar.
After joining the JD(U), Nishant Kumar interacted with senior leaders and showed his respect by touching Lalan Singh’s feet. Plans are underway for Nishant Kumar to tour various regions of Bihar soon, starting with the Champaran area, known for its significance in Nitish Kumar’s political history. It is anticipated that Nishant Kumar will play a crucial role in enhancing the party’s organizational structure.
