Nishant Kumar, the son of Nitish Kumar, recently joined the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) and visited his mother’s memorial to pay his respects and seek her blessings. He expressed his emotions while offering floral tributes, stating his wish for her blessings to be with him always. Nishant announced plans to tour all 38 districts of Bihar soon, aiming to engage with the public and party workers to understand grassroots concerns.
Nishant mentioned that preparations for the tour are in progress, with the detailed schedule to be revealed shortly. He also highlighted his father, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s upcoming separate tour across the state. When asked about the possibility of becoming the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nishant smiled without giving a direct response, amidst speculations in political circles following Nitish Kumar’s Rajya Sabha nomination.
