Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, is gearing up to step into active politics, as confirmed by senior JD(U) leader Shrawan Kumar. The formal announcement of Nishant Kumar’s political debut is on the horizon, with expectations of a significant role within the party. There has been a longstanding demand from Bihar’s youth and party members for Nishant Kumar to actively engage in politics.

Shrawan Kumar hinted at the possibility of Nishant Kumar being sent to the Rajya Sabha, emphasizing that the party leadership will make the final decision on his role. JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar expressed widespread support for Nishant’s political entry, highlighting the anticipation surrounding his participation. Minister Deepak Prakash welcomed Nishant Kumar’s potential political foray, citing the positive impact of youth involvement in strengthening democracy.

Party leaders view Nishant Kumar’s decision to enter politics as a significant milestone for JD(U), anticipating a substantial boost for the organization. While the specifics of his responsibilities are yet to be determined, his entry marks a pivotal moment in Bihar’s political landscape, as acknowledged by party members and leaders.
