South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt, Sri Lanka’s Imesha Dulani, and Brazil’s Laura Cardosa have been nominated for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award. Wolvaardt, who recently received two awards, showcased exceptional performances in both ODI and T20I series.
Dulani excelled during the ODI and T20I tour of Bangladesh, while Cardosa’s outstanding performance, including taking nine wickets in a T20I match, earned her a nomination. Wolvaardt, the South Africa captain, scored 138 runs in two ODIs and 330 runs in five T20Is with an impressive average and strike rate.
In a remarkable display of skill, Wolvaardt scored 115 runs off 53 balls in a T20I against India, leading her team to victory. Dulani, the Sri Lanka opener, was named Player of the Series for her contributions in the ICC Women’s Championship series. Cardosa’s exceptional run in T20Is included scoring 203 runs and taking 17 wickets with remarkable economy rates.
