Nvidia Corp announced that CEO Jensen Huang will not be attending the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi next week. The cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances, with Huang originally scheduled to address the media on February 17. Despite his absence, the summit will proceed as planned, showcasing India’s AI advancements.
The event will feature a senior Nvidia delegation, led by Executive Vice President Jay Puri, to recognize India’s AI researchers, startups, developers, and infrastructure partners. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit, which will host global tech leaders like Sundar Pichai and policymakers from over 45 countries.
Notable world leaders, including France’s President Macron and Spain’s President Sanchez Perez-Castejon, will participate in the discussions. The summit’s core themes revolve around People, Planet, and Progress, focusing on AI’s societal impact, environmental considerations, and responsible development.
