Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended a special screening of the Bollywood film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ in Bhubaneswar. The movie features BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut in a lead role. Also present at the screening were Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, several Ministers, and other senior BJP leaders.
The event was graced by the entire film team, prominent figures from the Odia film industry, media representatives, and cinema enthusiasts. Chief Minister Majhi praised Kangana Ranaut for her dedication and hard work, considering her journey as an inspiration for newcomers. Ranaut, addressing the media post-screening, urged the Chief Minister to make the film tax-free in Odisha, emphasizing its message for all Indians.
Kangana Ranaut highlighted that ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ pays homage to India’s unsung heroes, including nurses, watchmen, weavers, and various other workers. She stressed that the film’s purpose transcends commercial interests, aiming to honor the silent service of ordinary Indians. The movie is scheduled for release on June 12, with a focus on recognizing the contributions of the nation’s workforce.
On World Environment Day, Chief Minister Majhi and Kangana Ranaut planted saplings at the CM’s residence as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative. Ranaut encouraged all Indians to join the campaign by planting trees in honor of their mothers, emphasizing the collective responsibility for environmental conservation.
