Odisha Vigilance intensified its anti-corruption efforts by conducting simultaneous house searches at properties linked to an Executive Engineer, Sanjay Kumar Kispatta. Kispatta, currently serving as the Executive Engineer in OCC Ltd, is under scrutiny for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known income sources.
The searches, authorized by the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, are being carried out at seven locations associated with Kispatta. These include his rented accommodation in Koraput, commercial and residential properties in Koraput and Sundargarh districts, and his quarters in Bhubaneswar and Balangir district.
Recent actions by Odisha Vigilance have led to the arrest of a government official for possessing assets far exceeding his legitimate earnings. In 2025, the agency registered 202 cases and apprehended 212 individuals, including government officials, in connection with corruption cases, with a significant focus on disproportionate assets and bribery-related offenses.
