Pakistan has shifted its focus to soft terror tactics in India following a decline in infiltrations and the dismantling of multiple modules. Intelligence reports suggest Pakistan is now emphasizing a fake propaganda campaign to radicalize and recruit youth for a graffiti war in India.
The strategy involves promoting a fictitious group named Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan (TTH) and linking it to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, portraying it as an India-created entity. The ISI aims to recruit young individuals to paint graffiti at key locations, highlighting TTH and blaming India for its formation, along with focusing on Kashmir and Khalistan issues.
The ISI’s objective is to tarnish India’s image by spreading false narratives on human rights violations through a sustained graffiti campaign. By targeting impressionable youth, particularly college students, with these messages, Pakistan hopes to sow seeds of dissent and potentially incite protests and violence against the Indian government.
Officials reveal that ISI is concentrating its efforts on border states, recruiting financially vulnerable youth, including drug addicts, to engage in the graffiti war for monetary incentives. By strategically placing such graffiti in public areas like railway stations and college buildings, Pakistan aims to instill a sense of fear and unsettlement among the populace.
The upcoming focus will be on amplifying the presence of TTH, part of a broader strategy to create panic and divert attention from internal challenges faced by the Pakistan army. Asim Munir, under pressure due to the TTP’s activities, seeks to deflect blame onto India by portraying TTH as a front for Indian-backed aggression.
Amid escalating tensions, Pakistan’s move towards a fake narrative campaign and graffiti warfare is seen as a desperate attempt to shift blame onto India for recent security breaches and attacks. By targeting vulnerable youth and exploiting their financial needs, Pakistan aims to propagate a false narrative of Indian aggression through a sustained campaign of misinformation and fear-mongering.
