Participants of ‘Mann ki Baat,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio show, along with construction workers of Kartavya Bhawan and other special guests, will witness the 77th Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26. The guest list includes individuals recognized for their exceptional contributions to income generation, innovation, research, and government initiatives. European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will be the Chief Guests at the event.
The 10,000 special invitees, comprising winners of sports tournaments, rehabilitated transgenders and beggars, scientists from ISRO missions, and students from innovation programs, will be honored for their nation-building efforts. Foreign delegates, monks, and medal winners of international Olympiads will also participate in the celebrations. The guests will have the opportunity to visit key landmarks in Delhi and interact with Ministers during the event.
In addition to the special guests, representatives of top-performing MSMEs, farmers practicing natural farming, AI technicians, and shopkeepers benefiting from government schemes have been invited. The Republic Day Parade will showcase India’s military strength, cultural diversity, and a grand flypast featuring various aircraft formations. The event will also include a cultural performance celebrating ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and the spirit of ‘Vande Mataram.’
