At least one person died, and 28 others were injured when a passenger bus overturned in Zabul province, southern Afghanistan. The bus was traveling from Herat to Kabul when it veered off the road and flipped over due to a technical issue, as reported by a local police official. The injured individuals were promptly taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment and observation by the police and local residents.

On a previous occasion on June 20, five people lost their lives, and seven were injured in a similar incident in Parwan province, eastern Afghanistan. The vehicle involved in that accident overturned in the Mandiqol area of Kohi Safi district due to a suspected technical fault, according to a local police official. The injured individuals were quickly transported to medical facilities in Kabul for necessary treatment.

Another tragic incident occurred on June 15 in Wardak province, eastern Afghanistan, where a mini-bus accident led to the death of four travelers, including a child, and left four others injured. The mishap happened in Saydabad district, with casualties including a mother, her child, and two other women. In Kunar province, a similar accident resulted in one fatality and four injuries.

In a separate event on May 3, three people lost their lives in a high-speed collision between a passenger vehicle and a truck in Faryab province, northern Afghanistan. The collision occurred in Andkhoy district, with all three victims traveling in the high-speed vehicle at the time. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, although further details were not provided.
