Faisal Khan, also known as Khan Sir, has been granted interim relief by the Patna Civil Court regarding the legal conflict with educator Roshan Anand. The court has provided protection from any coercive actions, including arrest, until July 3, while requesting additional documents for further proceedings. During the hearing, the court instructed the police to furnish an updated case diary and a verification report on Faisal Khan’s bodyguards’ arms licenses.
The court has postponed the next steps in the case to July 3 pending the submission of these documents. Faisal Khan will maintain protection from arrest until then. The dispute arose from a clash between individuals linked to coaching institutes associated with Faisal Khan and Roshan Anand. Allegations include escalating tensions leading to vandalism and reports of gunshots fired during the incident.
Following the confrontation on June 2, where vandalism occurred, Patna Police registered an FIR against Faisal Khan, Roshan Anand, their security personnel, and others. Charges include attempted murder and rioting. Two security guards involved in the firing have been arrested and are in judicial custody. Legal proceedings have progressed, with Faisal Khan applying for anticipatory bail on June 9 and Roshan Anand being granted regular bail on June 15.
The ongoing investigation involves allegations that Faisal Khan’s security personnel fired shots to cause panic. The case, which also involves Prince Yadav before his reported death in Nepal, remains under scrutiny. The court is set to revisit Faisal Khan’s anticipatory bail plea on July 3 after reviewing the updated police case diary and the bodyguards’ weapon licenses verification report.
