Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the second edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for Kutch and Saurashtra at Marwadi University in Rajkot. The conference, spanning two days, focused on the development of the Kutch and Saurashtra regions. During the event, PM Modi inaugurated 13 greenfield smart Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation Limited estates in seven districts.
Gujarati folk singer Geeta Ben Rabari showcased her talent at the event, which saw the participation of around 4,000 industrialists from Gujarat and across the country. Addressing the attendees, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the Vibrant Gujarat journey over the past two decades. He emphasized the summit’s evolution into a global benchmark, with increasing identity and impact through each edition.
PM Modi expressed pride in his association with the Vibrant Gujarat Summit since its inception. He noted the summit’s transformation from showcasing Gujarat’s potential to a platform fostering global growth and international cooperation. The Prime Minister underscored the summit’s role in facilitating partnerships among various stakeholders, including corporate groups, cooperatives, MSMEs, start-ups, and international organizations.
India’s growth trajectory, according to PM Modi, reflects the nation’s commitment to facilitating, reforming, performing, and transforming. He highlighted India’s achievements in various sectors, including mobile data consumption, digital transactions, and mobile manufacturing. PM Modi also praised India’s advancements in the start-up ecosystem, solar power generation, and metro connectivity, emphasizing the country’s economic potential and stability.
