Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that public service is the ultimate test of good governance, highlighting the importance of working with humility and dedication to earn people’s trust. PM Modi achieved a significant milestone by becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister, surpassing former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s record with 4,399 days in office. His tenure, marked by a focus on infrastructure and nation-building projects, has seen the completion of various initiatives like the new Parliament building, Central Vista redevelopment, and the Statue of Unity.
The era under PM Modi’s leadership has been characterized by a series of key projects aimed at enhancing the country’s infrastructure and connectivity. These include initiatives such as the Kartavya Path, Vande Bharat trains, INS Vikrant, and the Noida International Airport. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to celebrate this milestone with a crucial meeting in the national capital, bringing together top BJP leaders, chief ministers, and deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states and Union Territories, along with leaders from allied parties.
During the meeting at Bharat Mandapam, the NDA is expected to adopt a resolution congratulating PM Modi on his historic achievement. This gathering marks the completion of 12 years of the NDA government at the Centre and acknowledges PM Modi’s tenure as the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history.
