Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a busy Sunday with various engagements in Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat. During a stop in HITEC City, Hyderabad, he deviated from protocol to accommodate a wedding party and guests. This kind gesture, which involved changing his landing plans to avoid disrupting a wedding at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, earned him praise from attendees and politicians across party lines.
The Prime Minister’s decision to take a longer road route instead of landing by helicopter allowed him to launch projects worth Rs 9,400 crore in Telangana. Despite the prior arrangements for the wedding, which had invited around 5,000 guests, PM Modi prioritized the family’s special occasion by ensuring smooth proceedings without last-minute security disruptions.
PM Modi’s actions in Hyderabad underscored his commitment to prioritizing people’s well-being over political considerations. His leadership style, characterized by compassion and consideration, resonated with many in the HITEC City, highlighting his dedication to serving the community.
Among the significant projects inaugurated by PM Modi in Telangana was the ‘PM MITRA Park’ in Warangal, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park. This initiative, part of the government’s “5F” vision, aims to establish an integrated textile ecosystem encompassing farm, fibre, factory, fashion, and foreign markets. Additionally, he initiated the four-laning of National Highway-167 and the development of the Zaheerabad Industrial Area, further boosting the region’s infrastructure and economic prospects.
