Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the 52nd PRAGATI meeting, overseeing infrastructure projects valued at over Rs 30,000 crore. These initiatives are expected to enhance economic growth, connectivity, and industrial advancement nationwide.

During the meeting, PM Modi emphasized the significance of the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan for ensuring the timely completion of development projects. The review encompassed critical infrastructure projects in the road, power, industrial corridor, and metro rail sectors across four states, collectively costing around Rs 30,000 crore.

Delays in infrastructure projects were highlighted as detrimental, leading to cost escalations and depriving citizens and industries of timely benefits. PM Modi directed ministries and state governments to address pending issues promptly and ensure rigorous monitoring at the highest levels to expedite completion.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of utilizing the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan for effective planning and execution of infrastructure ventures. He also underscored the necessity of maintaining up-to-date project details and information on the portal to facilitate proactive decision-making and enhance inter-agency coordination.
