He extended his congratulations to Ashok Kumar Lahiri on his appointment as Vice Chairman, along with other newly appointed full-time members. PM Modi highlighted the agency’s significance as a platform for innovation and strategic planning across various sectors, aiming for long-term development.

Expressing optimism for their future endeavors, PM Modi commended the reconstitution of NITI Aayog and wished success to Lahiri, Rajiv Gauba, Prof. K. V. Raju, Prof. Gobardhan Das, Prof. Abhay Karandikar, and Dr. M. Srinivas in their new roles. He met Lahiri personally to congratulate him on his appointment, acknowledging Lahiri’s expertise in economics and public policy, which is expected to contribute to India’s reform journey and development goals.
