During the event, PM Modi highlighted India’s position as the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem and its commitment to innovation-driven development. He mentioned the continuous growth of startups in India, attributing it to the country’s dedication to reforms and innovation. Macron, sharing the stage with PM Modi, praised the Prime Minister’s presence at ‘Bharat Innovates’ as an honor for France and commended his leadership in strengthening bilateral ties.
Before the event, PM Modi engaged with investors and venture capital leaders from India, France, and other countries. Later, he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with French President Macron in Nice to review the full spectrum of their relationship. PM Modi’s visit to Nice was part of an official invitation extended by President Macron. Various dignitaries, including French officials and India’s Ambassador to France, welcomed PM Modi upon his arrival at the airport.
