The Pochampally silk stole, a traditional textile from Telangana known for its intricate designs, was gifted to Brigitte Macron, highlighting India’s rich textile legacy.
Central to the Kalamkari painting is the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing values like ethical leadership, peace, and wisdom that transcend cultures and resonate in today’s world. The painting, created using traditional pen-drawing techniques, symbolizes timeless principles such as self-discipline and inner strength. PM Modi’s visit to France included attending the G7 Summit, bilateral talks with President Macron, and participation in various events promoting innovation and technology.
During his official visit, PM Modi and President Macron discussed enhancing cooperation in key sectors like defence, technology, space, and counter-terrorism. The leaders agreed to elevate their nations’ ties to a Special Global Strategic Partnership, underscoring the enduring friendship between India and France. Following his engagements in France, PM Modi visited Slovakia for a State Visit, holding talks with Slovakian leaders before attending the G7 Summit in Evian, where he met with several world leaders.
