He mentioned the upcoming ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue, where young individuals can present their ideas on themes like innovation, fitness, startups, and agriculture.
India’s youth are increasingly participating in various initiatives, as seen in a recent pitch competition with over 50 lakh participants and an essay contest where Tamil Nadu secured the top position. PM Modi also mentioned the successful conclusion of the Smart India Hackathon 2025, where students addressed real-life problems across different sectors. He encouraged young people to engage in such hackathons to provide innovative solutions to challenges.
Highlighting the importance of staying connected to cultural roots in a technology-driven world, PM Modi praised the Indian Institute of Science for its research and innovation. He shared the story of ‘Geetanjali IISc,’ a cultural center within the institute that promotes Hindustani classical music and folk traditions. PM Modi also commended Indians abroad for preserving their heritage, citing the ‘Kannada Pathshale’ in Dubai, where children learn and engage with the Kannada language.
