Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow to mark the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The national memorial is a tribute to Vajpayee’s life and principles. The site includes statues of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, symbolizing their contributions to the nation.

PM Modi, along with other dignitaries like Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and UP Governor Anandiben Patel, visited the 65-acre memorial in Lucknow’s Vasant Kunj area. The Rashtra Prerna Sthal boasts 65-foot bronze statues of the three leaders and a modern lotus-shaped museum highlighting India’s national journey and leadership legacy.

The museum, designed as a lotus-shaped structure, covers around 98,000 square feet and uses advanced digital technologies to showcase the leaders’ impact on India’s political landscape. The inauguration of the Prerna Sthal emphasizes the importance of upholding selfless leadership and good governance in the country.

PM Modi also paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee separately, praising his dedication to governance and nation-building. He described Vajpayee as an influential figure known for his oratory skills and poetic spirit, whose legacy will continue to guide the nation’s progress and development.
