Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference: Saurashtra-Kutch’ at Marwadi University, embodying the vision of ‘Viksit Gujarat to Viksit Bharat’. The event includes over 50 sector-specific seminars and thematic sessions covering various industries and technologies.
The five-day business exhibition features more than 450 exhibitors, showcasing innovation and entrepreneurship. It provides a platform for MSMEs, startups, artisans, and government departments to display Gujarat’s economic diversity. The event, spread across six domes, promotes business networking and collaboration.
A highlight of the exhibition is the Reverse Buyers-Sellers Meet, facilitating connections between regional MSMEs and international buyers. Cottage industries are engaging with over 20 international buyers for the first time, resulting in numerous meetings and MoUs, with an expected export value exceeding Rs 500 crore.
VGRE aims to connect local businesses, industry leaders, and innovators with global buyers, reinforcing Gujarat’s status as a key trade and investment hub. The event witnessed the participation of four partner countries and 12 partner organizations, introducing new initiatives like Smart GIDC estates and the Medical Devices Park.
Special focus was placed on supporting MSMEs, women entrepreneurs, and startups through the Udyami Mela, offering access to finance, markets, and skills. The inclusive approach fosters connections between small enterprises, innovators, and larger industry players. Additionally, a cultural program celebrated Gujarat’s heritage and diversity, enhancing the conference’s vibrancy.
