During his visit, PM Modi, accompanied by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, enjoyed an Indo-Swedish Musical Orchestra presentation by Ron Davis Alvarez and his students. The leaders witnessed various cultural performances and an orchestra presentation upon PM Modi’s arrival in Sweden, including a rendition of ‘Vaishnava Jana To’ by Swedish opera singer Charlotta Huldt in honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals.
Expressing gratitude for the warmth and affection of the Indian community in Gothenburg, PM Modi acknowledged their significant contribution to strengthening India-Sweden ties. The visit aims to review bilateral relations comprehensively and explore new avenues for cooperation to boost bilateral trade, as outlined in the statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs.
