Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the loan and credit card distribution program under the PM SVANidhi Scheme from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. A similar event took place at the Municipal Council premises in Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh. Eligible beneficiaries received loan amounts during the program.
The PM launched the program nationwide from Thiruvananthapuram, distributing loan amounts to beneficiaries in Shahdol district. BJP MLA Manisha Singh praised the scheme, stating that it empowers small traders and street vendors financially. The distribution of credit cards under the scheme has also commenced.
Ghanshyam Jaiswal, Shahdol Municipal Council President, highlighted the scheme’s benefits, mentioning the increase in loan amounts provided. Divya Dwivedi, a beneficiary, shared her success story, expressing gratitude for the scheme’s support in starting a tailoring business. Another beneficiary, Gagan Barman, credited the scheme for helping expand his general store business.
