Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended Harivansh Narayan Singh, a veteran journalist turned politician, for his invaluable contributions to journalism and public life. Singh was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by President Droupadi Murmu. Harivansh Narayan Singh, a former Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, transitions from journalism to active politics with a wealth of experience.
