Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed solidarity with Israel in the fight against terrorism, acknowledging India’s own history of enduring such threats. During his address at the Israeli Parliament, he conveyed India’s condolences for lives lost in a terrorist attack by Hamas and emphasized the need for global unity against such violence.

PM Modi highlighted the significance of the Gaza Peace Initiative endorsed by the UN Security Council as a potential pathway towards lasting peace in the region. In a historic speech that received enthusiastic applause, PM Modi underscored the strong bond between India and Israel. He conveyed greetings from the Indian population and emphasized the message of friendship, respect, and partnership between the two nations. PM Modi also commemorated the Holocaust as a dark chapter in human history, while acknowledging acts of humanity that shone through during those challenging times.
