Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to speak at the post-Budget webinar titled “Technology, Reforms and Finance for Viksit Bharat” on Friday morning through video conferencing, as per a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office. The webinar will focus on topics such as public capex, infrastructure, banking sector reforms, financial sector architecture, capital markets, and tax reforms aimed at improving quality of life.
This webinar marks the beginning of a series of post-Budget webinars centered on key themes from the Union Budget 2026–27. The objective is to learn from past experiences and gather feedback to ensure effective implementation of Budget announcements for the fiscal year 2026-27. The sessions will involve various stakeholders sharing their experiences and insights.
The event will bring together participants from industry, financial institutions, market players, government bodies, regulators, and academia to discuss strategies for implementing key Budget announcements. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced a capital expenditure of Rs 12.2 lakh crore in the Budget for 2026-27 to support major infrastructure projects and stimulate economic growth and job creation.
