He encouraged startups to ensure that AI is affordable, inclusive, and transparent. PM Modi praised the startups for their work across various sectors like e-commerce, material research, and healthcare, highlighting the potential of AI to contribute to societal welfare.
During the interaction, PM Modi described the engagement with the young entrepreneurs as enlightening and praised their efforts to leverage AI for the advancement of society. He expressed admiration for the startups’ diverse applications of AI, including in fields such as marketing, engineering simulations, and medical research. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for AI initiatives to align with the ‘Made in India, Made for the World’ vision, focusing on affordability, inclusivity, and transparency.
Furthermore, PM Modi emphasized the importance of developing unique Indian AI models that promote local content and regional languages. He announced that India will host the India AI Impact Summit 2026, underscoring the country’s growing role in the technology sector. Twelve Indian AI startups, selected for the AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge, participated in the roundtable, presenting their innovative ideas and projects.
