Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need for a unified message of peace and dialogue from the Indian Parliament amidst the escalating West Asia conflict. India’s primary goal is to facilitate peace restoration in the region through diplomatic discussions. Addressing the Rajya Sabha, PM Modi highlighted the prolonged West Asia conflict, which has triggered a global energy crisis, impacting trade routes and the supply of essential commodities like petrol, diesel, gas, and fertilizers.

After the conflict outbreak, PM Modi engaged in discussions with leaders of various West Asian countries to address the situation. Stressing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy, he reiterated India’s commitment to de-escalation and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. PM Modi condemned attacks on civilians, infrastructure, energy facilities, and transportation systems, emphasizing the significance of ensuring the safe return of Indian ships through diplomatic efforts.

India’s diplomatic focus remains on promoting a peaceful resolution to the conflict to safeguard human lives. PM Modi underscored the country’s continuous efforts to encourage all parties involved to seek a peaceful solution promptly.
