Addressing a public gathering in Hardoi after inaugurating the Ganga Expressway, PM Modi commended the high voter turnout in Bengal and urged continued enthusiastic participation in the democratic process. The ongoing polling in West Bengal involves 142 constituencies across six districts, including Kolkata, under tight security measures with the deployment of central forces and state police.
Reflecting on recent electoral victories, PM Modi mentioned the BJP-NDA alliance’s success in Bihar and Gujarat’s local elections. He expressed optimism for the BJP-led NDA to achieve historic wins in the upcoming Assembly elections, aiming to further boost the country’s development pace through infrastructure development.
