PM Modi’s overseas visits and interactions with foreign leaders have proven effective in bolstering bilateral relations, as mentioned by BJP MP Naresh Bansal. JD(U) Spokesperson Neeraj Kumar highlighted the visit’s significance in strengthening India-Israel relations and leveraging Israel’s expertise in agriculture. The visit aims to establish new goals for the Strategic Partnership and advance a shared vision for a prosperous future between the two nations.
This visit marks PM Modi’s second trip to Israel, following his 2017 visit that paved the way for collaborations in defense, agriculture, and water management. PM Modi expressed eagerness for discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to enhance cooperation in various domains, including science, technology, agriculture, defense, and trade. The visit will also include meetings with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and an address to the Israeli Parliament, Knesset, symbolizing the strong parliamentary ties between India and Israel.
