The Central District Police in Delhi uncovered an alleged prostitution operation posing as a spa in Paharganj. The owner-cum-manager was arrested, and four women were rescued during a sting operation. The raid followed specific intelligence received by the police regarding immoral activities at SIN SPA on Panchkuian Road.
A decoy operation was set up, where a customer was offered sexual services in exchange for money. Upon a signal from the decoy, the police team entered the premises and apprehended the accused. The raid led to the recovery of cash, documents, and materials indicating illegal activities.
The arrested individual, Ajay Malhotra, was identified as the owner-cum-manager of SIN SPA. He confessed to managing the spa and organizing sexual services for customers. The rescued women, aged between 26 and 40, were found on the premises. The police are investigating the possibility of others being involved in the trafficking network.
Further investigation is ongoing, with the police aiming to uncover any additional individuals linked to the alleged prostitution racket. The case has been registered under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. The operation resulted in the recovery of cash, condoms, and materials related to the illicit activities.
