Police investigating the Ketan Agarwal murder case discovered that Ketan had expressed doubts about his fiancee Siya Goyal’s background. Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, mentioned in the FIR, revealed that Ketan was suspicious due to Siya’s frequent mentions of her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary.
The families of Goyal and Agarwal were connected through a common link, Narendra Mittal, who brought Siya’s marriage proposal to the Agarwal family. Mittal, being Siya’s maternal uncle and Vishal Agarwal’s cousin, played a significant role in the match approval.
Following the engagement ceremony in February at Bund Garden in Pune, Ketan inquired multiple times about Siya’s background verification. Despite reassurances from his family that everything was in order, Ketan’s concerns persisted, especially after incidents like his missing passport and Siya’s behavior.
Ketan’s suspicions grew as he noticed Siya’s close association with Chetan Chaudhary and her alleged affair. Despite repeated assurances from his family that Siya was a part of their extended family and her background had been thoroughly checked, Ketan’s doubts remained unresolved.
