In a significant operation, the police raided an illegal party named ‘Project X’ in Tulapur, Maharashtra’s Pune, detaining a total of 156 individuals, which included minors. Among those detained, 107 were men and 49 were women, with three individuals below 21 years old. The party took place at a bungalow-style resort in Tulapur, under the Lonikand police station’s jurisdiction in Pune.

Items worth around Rs 85 lakh were confiscated during the operation. Pune Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Gauhar Hasan mentioned that acting on a tip-off about the unauthorized party in Tulapur, a team of 15 officers and 65 police personnel conducted the raid around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. The police highlighted that the party’s liquor serving permission was valid only until 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, but the event extended beyond that time.

During the raid, the police found approximately 3 grams of cannabis (ganja) and seized it. Additionally, 10 packets of banned hookah flavors were recovered from the scene. Liquor valued at about Rs 9.22 lakh was also confiscated from the venue. The main organizers of the event were identified as Aiman Sheikh from Blaze Entertainment and Yash Chaudhary from Star Light Entertainment. Authorities are investigating their roles in obtaining permissions and ensuring compliance with the law.

The police confirmed that the investigation and legal actions regarding the matter are currently ongoing. Further updates on the situation are awaited.
